26 Being Monitored for Coronavirus on Hawai`i

HONOLULU, OAHU (Ben Caxton) — The total of people being monitored for possible coronavirus infections on Hawai`i now stands at 26 according to state health officials. All are people who have been in China over the last 14 days. While all direct flights between China and Hawai`i have been suspended, Honolulu’s airport is one of 11 in the U.S. where officials are directing flights with suspected flu victims for quarantine and observation. No cases have as yet been confirmed on Hawai`i from the virus that official Chinese figures say has killed more than 1000 people – including one hundred in the last 24 hours alone.
