Dig Up More Cash if You Haven’t Paid Taxes Yet

LIHU`E, KAUA`I (Ben Caxton) — If you didn’t get your property taxes in to the county yesterday, you’ll have to scrape up more cash to make things right. So as of now anyone who missed that deadline will be charged a 10 percent penalty on what was owed plus 12 percent annual interest on the unpaid balance.
