Dow Warns Customers over Third Party Payers

LIHU`E, KAUA`I (Ben Caxton) — The County Department of Water is warning its customers over the use of third-party companies who charge a fee for paying the bill. The DOW wants people to know that they are not affiliated in any way with in any way and by using the service, the DOW cannot guarantee your bills will get paid. And that could lead to additional charges on your bill. The DOW says they only accepts water service payments in person at the Department of Water’s office, via a mailed check payable to the Department of Water, through automatic bill payments set up through the Department of Water, and using online bill payment arrangements made through your bank or credit union.
