LIHU`E, KAUA`I (Ben Caxton) — The Kaua`i Police Department, the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney and Life’s Choices Kaua`i will be presenting “Keeping your Community Safe,” a series of island-wide meetings that aim to inform, educate and provide safety resources to the public. KPD will provide information on Crime Stoppers Kaua`i, internet safety and the Neighborhood Watch Program. The OPA will share information on the Drug Nuisance Abatement Unit and how it works closely with community members and KPD. Life’s Choices Kaua`i will provide information on the Ho`okele Coalition. Meeting times will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM running from next Tuesday, February 18 through Thursday, February 27 at neighborhood centers across the island.
