Kpd Opens 2nd Degree Murder Investigation

MOLOA`A, KAUA`I (Ben Caxton) — The Kaua’i Police Department has opened an investigation into a second-degree murder that occurred in Moloa`a last week. A Kaua`i man was found dead along the side of Kuhio Highway on the morning of February 6. Kaua`i police have confirmed additional details about the unattended death and have identified the victim as 57-year-old Paul Christie, who was living on Kaua`i but had no permanent address. An autopsy revealed that Christie died as a result of injuries consistent with a homicide. Investigative Services Bureau Assistant Chief Bryson Ponce says anyone with information regarding the incident should call him at 241-1602 or KPD Dispatch at 241-1711.
