Po`ipu Beach Parking Lot Getting Striped

PO`IPU, KAUA`I (Ben Caxton) — The Po`ipu Beach parking lot will be getting its stripes in a couple of weeks. The Department of Public Works Division says that striping work will take place at the Kaua`i Recycles Drop bin area at the parking lot on March 25. During this time, the recycling bins will be removed and the area blocked off, and bins will be unavailable for use until 7:00 AM the next day, on March 26th while the paint dries on the new pavement markings. The county says residents should either hold on to their recyclables until the bins are returned or visit the Kaua`i Recycles drop bins behind the old K-Mart building in Lihu`e or near the Lawa`i Post Office.
