Waimea and Kapa`a Swimming Pools Open June 2

LIHU`E, KAUA`I (Ben Caxton) — The County of Kaua`i announces the reopening swimming pools. Effective Tuesday, June 2, the Waimea and Kapa`a swimming pools will reopen to the public and follow Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines. Staff will check in patrons before they enter the pool, and a maximum of six people will be allowed in the Waimea swimming pool and a maximum of seven in the Kapa`a pool. Social distancing measures will be in place, and swimmers will be required to swim or exercise in designated lanes. Additionally, patrons will be allowed to wait on the bleachers.
