K-pal Receives Donation at New Kukui Grove Center Facility

LIHU`E, KAUA`I (Ben Caxton) — The Kaua’i Police Activities League received a check for $2,000 last week from Enterprise Holdings Foundation at its new Lihu`e location at Kukui Grove Center. Police Chief Todd G. Raybuck said during the check presentation ceremony that “investing in our youth today is an investment in our community’s future.” The recently donated funds will be directed toward the K-PAL program, which includes hosting activities out of a new spacious location at the shopping mall and creating a positive role model atmosphere for youth who are interested in interactive sports. K-PAL is a non-profit organization coordinated by the Kaua`i Police Department, offering various islandwide programs to approximately 1,000 youth ages 5 to 18. Its goal is to encourage good behavior, a healthy lifestyle, deter youth from illegal drugs and crime, and help them reach their full potential.

  1. Desperately trying to reach anyone from KPAL for help during off hours for their gym. Sadly no one responds. Looking for space for boxing for people with Parkinson’s. Please call or email just to talk.
