Thunderstorm Warning for Harrison County OH

PITTSBURGH, PA (858 PM EDT Tue Aug 20 2019) — The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Harrison County in east central Ohio until 930 PM EDT. At 858 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles northeast of Freeport, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD: Wind gusts to 60 mph. SOURCE: Radar. Expect damage to trees and power lines, resulting in some power outages. Locations impacted include Cadiz Freeport Hopedale Adena Jewett Holloway New Athens Harrisville Piedmont Tippecanoe Deersville Clendening Lake Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
